This commitment means that we consistently reuse items like vases, vessels, and mechanics, including traditional elements like chicken wire. By embracing these practices, we significantly minimize waste in our operations. Moreover, Jackelope Floral Co. strictly avoids the use of floral foam unless it is a fully compostable and biodegradable product. Our goal is to ensure that every element we use aligns with our ecological values, avoiding harmful materials that contribute to landfill waste.
A cornerstone of our sustainability efforts is our commitment to sourcing locally. We have fostered strong, collaborative relationships with local farmers and growers, allowing us to access unique blooms while significantly cutting down on transportation emissions. During peak blooming seasons, we intentionally source between 60% to 100% of our floral materials from these local partners. This not only supports our community but also ensures that our arrangements reflect the beauty of shopping seasonally.

Hello there, my name is Trevor Jack! I am a Portland, Oregon based floral artist, rooted in a deep commitment to ecological sustainability. With a rich background in sculptural design, I approach floral arrangements as living works of art, intertwining nature's beauty with my own creative vision. As a lifelong creative artist, I find endless inspiration in the delicate dance of petals and leaves, each bloom telling a unique story.
